About Hackover 3.0

Hackover 3.0 is a 24 hours Online Hackathon organized by GDSC-CRCE, CSI, GDA and E-CELL of Fr Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering. By organizing this Hackathon, we are trying to promote a strong Programming and Product Building Culture among students that will help them develop Problem Solving, Critical Thinking and Software Development Skills. It is an opportunity to take on challenging problems that revolve around us all the time and crack them down. Do you have passion to build? Find out in this 24 hours long thrilling experience! We hope that this hackathon will be a good learning opportunity for all the participants participating.

HackOver 3.0 Rules

  1. Only the teams who attend and present during the first judging round will get participation certificate.
  2. Please change your discord name on the server to the name mentioned on the "guidelines" channel. Failure to do so will lead to you not being added to the team channel.
  3. During the judging rounds, the project should be pitched using presentations and working model developed till then.
  4. The schedule has been put up. We request you to co-operate in case of technical issues.
  5. The teams have to keep their cameras on during the judging rounds.
  6. Further instructions specific to a team will be given on the team channels itself.
  7. Any queries can be put up on the helpdesk.

GitHub Guidelines

  1. Your GitHub repository name should be: TeamNumber_TeamName_Hackover3.0
  2. It should be public and the link should be sent on your specific team channel
  3. Make sure you push changes at least every 3 hours, and notify on the team channels when the changes are pushed

No, Hackover is a team event. Student teams need a minimum of two members but a maximum of three. However, you can submit the application alone and form teams after selection with other selected participants.

The hackathon will instantly increase your knowledge and skill level and will serve as a platform to socialize with the tech community. Cash prizes and other perks are in store for the winners and cool swag for all participants.

Yes. Creativity is independent of your technical skills. You can learn the tools and technologies anytime.

Only the Web/App Domain will have 1 problem statement. Blockhain and Game Development come under open innovation, as in you can develop any sort of idea or project related to the domain.
